Sutton Castle

Viewed from the southern shore, the promontory of Howth is shaped like a whale, basking at
the entrance to Dublin Bay. Formerly the residence of the Jameson family (whose story in
Ireland goes back to the 1780's and the first distillation of famed 'John Jameson' whiskey
- which is now an international success). Sutton Castle Hotel offers nineteen excellent
bedrooms all with TV and direct dial telephones.

The Hill of Howth itself is largely preserved as
amenity land and thinly populated but nowhere more pleasurably than within the six
landscaped acres and Victorian walls of Sutton Castle Hotel.

And, of course, in the comfortable bar you'll find John Jameson... and other kindred
spirits.
