In spring, summer and autumn afternoons, our highly trained and distinguished chefs can often be viewed selecting from the herb garden that runs the length of the dining room for that evening's dinner.
Health Spa
Having conducted extensive market research on the subject over a number of years, we have decided to add a luxury Health Spa to our facilities at Knockranny House Hotel.
The challenge in planning the Health Spa was how best to incorporate it into Knockranny House Hotel without compromising the unique style of the original building. We came up with a design that will effortlessly blend into the existing structure of the Hotel, thereby adding a wonderful
new addition to our already extensive range of products and services.
The central themes of the Health Spa will be renewal and rejuvenation of the mind, body and soul, achieved by combining supreme pampering and relaxation techniques with a diverse and exhilarating range of treatments, products and services.
Knockranny House Hotel is a superb base for golf in the west and north-west of Ireland. We will be delighted to contact the courses in order to arrange tee-times and will also of course look after any travel requirements you may have.
The nationally acclaimed links courses at Ballyconneely in Connemara, Carne in Belmullet, Enniscrone and Rosses Point in Co. Sligo are all within 90 minutes drive of the hotel. For something a little less taxing but no less enjoyable, you could always try the nine-hole
links course in Mulranny, a mere 30 minute journey away from the hotel.
Westport boasts its own fine course on rolling parkland under the shadow of Croagh Patrick. More parkland courses are available at Castlebar and Ballinrobe, both of which are relatively short distances from the hotel.
Our conference rooms and events spaces follow the theme of the rest of the hotel in that they have been carefully designed to encourage the calming and inspirational effects of light and space.
Our largest room, The Nephin Suite, can accommodate up to 500 theatre style and 250 for dinner. The beauty of this uniquely flexible area is that it can also be broken down into areas suitable for seminars, smaller conferences and dinners using partition walls.
Alternatively, The McAuley Suite is ideal for intimate boardroom meetings and workshops.
