Unwind in what was once the home of the Penkinsons in the 14th century, the Suttons in the 15th, the Gaynors in the 16th, Katherine Dillon and Lord Kingston in the 17th, Bartholemew Van Homreigh and Vanessa in the 18th century, the Barton family in the 19th ...yours in the 21st century.

Barberstown Castle is one of the first great Irish country houses to open up it's splendor to the outside world. The Castle Keep was built in the early 13th century by Nicholas Barby to guard it's inhabitants in medieval times.

The Elizabethian House, built in the second half of the 16th century, is one of the few houses in this area that has been in continuous occupation for over 400 years.

The Victorian House, built in the 1830's by Hugh Barton, completes a heritage that embraces over seven hundred and fifty years of Irish history inviting you to discover the unique attractions of Baberstown Castle.
